The Fear Free movement was founded by Dr. Marty Becker in an effort "to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress in pets by inspiring and educating the people who care for them." I am very honored to have been chosen as Karen Pryor Academy's trainer of the Month. There are over 1700 KPA certified dog trainers worldwide and it feels great to be a part of a growing movement committed to using science-based, positive reinforcement strategies to help dogs and their guardians communicate well together.
